MAKE THEM SHINE, THE SILVER SPEED COLLECTION
Nike celebrates Super Bowl XLVII with the 2014 NFL Silver Speed Collection. Built to outfit players for all conditions. This collection draws inspiration from the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the icy weather of the northeast, and the bright lights of the city. The Aeroloft Jacket was the “HERO” piece in the collection, so I shut down and blacked out the rest of the pieces to make the trims and the jacket SHINE. This was the first time that Nike showed up to market with a complete BLACKED OUT Jersey. It did not dissapoint.

This Super Bowl sideline apparel collection and Limited retail Jersey was inspired by the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN. The jersey all over print was inspired by harnessing the energy of the stadium, light, natural energy, the motion of the game, and the power of the players.

Super Bowl LIII was held in Atlanta, GA. at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. I was inspired by the stadium, the grit of the city, and the exploding music culture. These iconic football silhouettes with innovative fabrics and trims showcase the duality and juxtapositions of the city. Off setting the verbiage in the nameplate box, nods to the venue where most of the local talent got their start in the industry.
